ARE WE READY TO PAY A FAIR PRICE FOR IT?
It’s Fashion Week 2022 next week, and we at Kalopsia have as a business taken part in this annual campaign for the last 7 years as we believe that the people in our industry deserve a living wage, safe working conditions and respect at the very least.
We think that most of us have heard about the unfair working conditions of the people working in Textiles and Fashion industries, abroad (as well as here in the UK).
But, has the awareness caused a change in the way we manufacturer our goods or in our buying habits or how we treat people in the supply chain?
Do we know who made the clothes, bags and other accessories that we wear and use? And are we ready to pay a “fair price” for it?
Now more than ever, it is critical that we all come together and support the workers that underpin our industry. Join us next week in the conversation
